Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to JOBMAS will undergo a rigorous peer review process to maintain the quality and originality of the article. The review process is a double-blind peer review, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential. This process consists of the following stages:
Initial Check: The editorial team will check the manuscript for compliance with the Focus and Scope of JOBMAS, administrative completeness, writing structure, and plagiarism using Turnitin software. Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria will be returned to the author before proceeding to the peer review stage.
Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial check will be sent to at least two (2) reviewers who are experts in the relevant fields. Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on originality, significance, methodology, results, and adherence to scientific principles.
Editor's Decision Based on Reviewer Recommendations: The results of peer review will be the primary consideration for the Editor in making decisions. Possible decisions are: Accepted without revision, Accepted with minor revisions, Accepted with major revisions, or Rejected.
Notification to Authors: Authors will receive notification along with comments from reviewers (if any revisions are made) to be used to improve the manuscript.
Revision Process: Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscript based on reviewer feedback and the established timeline.
Final Decision: Revised manuscripts will be re-evaluated by the editor and/or reviewers to ensure all feedback has been addressed before being declared fit for publication.
