Peer Review Process

Islamic Business and SMEs employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.

Initial Check: The editor-in-chief conducts an initial check for suitability, scope, and adherence to journal guidelines.

Plagiarism Screening: The manuscript is screened for plagiarism.

Assignment to Editor: A suitable section editor is assigned to manage the review process.

Invitation to Reviewers: The section editor invites at least two independent, expert reviewers.

Double-Blind Review: Both the reviewers and authors are anonymized during the review process.

Decision: The section editor makes a decision based on the reviewers' recommendations: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.

Revision: Authors are given time to revise their manuscripts based on the feedback.

Final Decision: The editor makes a final decision upon receipt of the revised manuscript.
