Plagiarism Policy

Islamic Business and SMEs maintains a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate) to ensure originality.

Definition: Plagiarism includes the unauthorized use of another's work, ideas, data, or text without proper acknowledgment, presenting it as one's own.

Action: Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism (as determined by the editorial board) at any stage of the process will be immediately rejected. In cases of published articles where plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the article will be retracted following the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
